Logging In
On your main Gallery page click "[login]"
Using the username
admin
and the admin password, sent to you buy us, login to your
Gallery!
You now have
full admin privileges.
Creating Albums
Creating albums is simple, login as admin and click "[new album]".
The new album is created. You should see the message
"Hey! Add some photos" You should also modify some of
the album properties, such as title, description,
permissions and name.
Go back to the main Gallery page by clicking the
link in the top right by the "up" arrow. You should
see the new album on the main page. To edit the
title of the new album, click "[edit title]" by the
current title (for new albums, it defaults to
"Untitled"). To edit the description, do the same
thing by clicking on "[edit description]". Finally,
rename the album. Click on the link in the sentence
"Hey! Rename this album so that the URL is not so
generic". Once you've done this, you're ready to add
photos.
Adding Photos
To add photos in an album, navigate to the album and
click "[add photos]". You can now browse your
computer and upload photos, adding an optional
caption with each image. You can also change the
number of file upload boxes displayed by using the
select box.

These images show the views when you are logged in
as admin.
Notice the options available to you enclosed in
[brackets].
Once inside an album you can use the admin
options pull down menu to edit your gallery web
site:

You can create
separate accounts for individuals or use a single "guest" account to keep it simple!
Give the guest password to who ever you want to be
able to see this album.
The Image below shows an album set to only allow "loggedin"
users to see it.
Only people with a username and password can login
and then they can see this album.
If you set "Users who can see this album." to
"EVERYBODY" then the entire world can view the album
without having to login.

It's easy
to create users and Gallery will even email them
their username and password directly from the
website! (If you have the email function enabled)
You may not want users to be able to create their
own albums, select yes or no as you wish, just
remember it is your web space they are using. Send
them to us to get their own Gallery! :-)

You have a lot of options for individual photos
too! Pull down the Edit Photo Menu!

Uploading
photos and videos
is easy, just browse to your files, add a caption if
you like, and up load them. Gallery can be set to
automatically resize your images during the upload
to make the site more friendly to viewers with
slower "dial-up" connections!
